And as we know, FE was also almost shelved due to declining sales. Awakening sold enough to resuscitate the series, and here we are now, with FE now considered one of Nintendo's flagship IPs. I would except IS has abandoned it in favor of FE Well, the AW games didn't sell too well. In fact, the most recent game, Days of Ruin/Dark Conflict, wasn't even released in Japan until a few years ago as a Club Nintendo reward. And as we know, FE was also almost shelved due to declining sales. Awakening sold enough to resuscitate the series, and here we are now, with FE now considered one of Nintendo's flagship IPs.
