Boss battles. Many can be soloed, but the Legendary Birds are so powerful that they call for groups of up to twenty to take on.

Facebook is a good place to start. From there you can find local groups and see if anyone has started chat groups to organize

I stopped in a local parking lot when I noticed a Zapdos raid come up. Some time later, two other guys showed but, after waiting a while longer, I didn't see anybody else so I just called it quits. Now I feel kinda stupid since I should have at least grabbed their contact info in case another raid popped up.

Annoyed that I missed Moltres, since I have a 2450 Vaporeon, two 1900 Vaporeons, two 2000 Rhydons, a 2000 Golem, and... well, more Vaporeons. I probably would have fared okay. I'm not as set for Zapdos, although my Rhydons and Golems should be so-so and I have two Piloswines.

Golem with double rock moves is pretty much the best attacker for Zapdos tbh

Tyranitar is the only thing that really compares to it

Didn't know people played that "game" still. So they're adding legendaries eh? Did they change up the battling at all, or is it the tap and swipe thing?

Unfortunately my golem's fast move is mud slap or whatever. I need a TM to fix that. Its charge is rock barrage and, while I might prefer stone edge, I wouldn't risk re-rolling with a TM.

We did it with a group of 10 people today and there were a few people using silly things like croconaw and ditto

You should be ok, the biggest challenge is just organizing folks to play together

I was in a group of 50+ people today. We had to split into three separate groups. >.>

I had never seen that in my town, even when the game was super popular.

That is the best way to do it because you can split everyone up by team so everybody gets the bonus for their team leading in damage

I think those birds are causing havoc in the real world. I saw a Zapdos raid pop up, and about twenty minutes later a fire truck pulled up to exactly where the raid was.

I only have two

i got my zapdos on my first ball. 8 of 16 people got it that raid. it was awesome

This is killing me. I can't find any kind of (active) community for my area. Not on Facebook, Reddit, or anything else.

My town has an active discord group, but I only found out about it because they showed up to a raid and told me about it.
