The Democratic National Committee is hiring for some new positions in their Technology Team, including Chief Security Officer, IT Systems Administrator, and Product Manager. In the email soliciting job applications, it says that the DNC is looking for a "staff of diverse voices and life experiences."

Unfortunately, according to the DNC's Data Service Manager Madeleine Leader, this desire for "diverse voices and life experiences" apparently doesn't extend to "cisgender straight white males." In the closing paragraph of the email, Leader said "I personally would prefer that you not forward to cisgender straight white males, as they are already in the majority."

Yup.

Elliott Hamilton from the Daily Wire posted a screenshot of the email on Twitter, saying that this is another symptom of the "patently absurd oppression Olympics."

How about hiring the person right for the job and not hiring for the "right" skin color? You know, common sense.

So hypothetical question. So let's say in some distant future the left achieves it's twisted goal in reducing the amount of white people that are represented in everyday life.

Does it end there? Or do they continue trying to fix the next problem. They will then have to go hard against Asians and start discriminating against them since they will be by far the best off demographic in every measure of success. They already are currently and the gap will get much higher in the future.

Yep. I've mentioned for awhile that the Left is having their Tea Party moment right now and it's embarrassing to watch. They are about to have a similar result the Republicans did back in 2012 if they aren't careful.

I never want to label myself as a democrat or republican because I don't necessarily believe with everything that either side presents. You could say that I used to be liberal based on the way I've voted since 2008 and before the Democrats completely lost their minds (and when the Republicans were losing theirs), but there is no way that I can support them as it is right now. Especially since I am apparently not welcomed into their party.

lolnope. Daily Wire is a rag. Townhall is a conservative news site who are somewhat solid, but I don't trust them to be straightforward considering they're reporting on a Tweet.

Also, it depends on what is meant by "they (straight white men) are already in the majority." If she meant they're already going to be receiving a lot of straight white male applicants for these positions, then why does it matter if she also requests that people seek out applicants who are minorities? But if she meant "we're advertising this job privately and I don't want white men to apply" then that's reprehensible. But I have a feeling this is purposely kept vague by the sources who reported it.
