I think it all makes sense. As Charlotte said, there's really nobody left for her to go against right now. Carmella having the title leads to fresh feuds and someone else can get the belt after her.

People are acting like Charlotte lost clean after ending the streak. She lost after a two on one beatdown where she could barely stand. She still looks incredibly strong because it took all of that to beat her.

If you're gonna have Carmella come out and successfully cash in her money-in-the-bank on the winner of Charlotte/Asuka like, two days after 'Mania...wouldn't it generate MORE heat to have her pull that bullshit on Asuka and end the streak simultaneously? Beating Charlotte just feels like...she beat someone who beat the streak. Big deal.

Don't forget Jericho still got a shot at the US title after Owens went to SD last year. If Jinder goes to Raw, they'll probably make it to where Orton gets put on the Raw roster if he wins the belt.

I feel like Billie and Peyton made more of an impact than Riott Squad and Absolution ever did.

Just have Billie and Peyton be the most obnoxious thing ever, and give them mic time to do it, and they should get a ton of heat.

They both seem comfortable on the mic, which is something that can't be said about most of the womens division. Outside of the now retired Paige, Charlotte, Alexa, Becky, Natalya, and Ruby, I can't think of anyone who sounds natural on the mic (though I'm probably forgetting some people, almost forgot about Becky and Natalya). I'm not counting Stephanie because she's really not an active wrestler, but she's outstanding as well.

I think they had a great start. Beating down the champion who just ended a 900 day undefeated streak and leading to her losing her title via cash in a huge impact. If Charlotte stays on SD and gets her rematch, I'm guessing they cause her to lose her rematch too. That's how you start a callup off with a bang.

Enjoyable episode of SDL!

Probably the most I've properly enjoyed in a while.

I'm keen to see where AJ/Nak goes. Maybe we'll get the match at Backlash we were SUPPOSED to get at Mania. Sort of like how We got a great KO/SZ at BG2K16 to compensate for their above average encounter at PB2K16.
