Haven't used it since 2016 and it's changed a lot since then! They now have categories not only for dating but also for users searching just for new friends, AND for folks trying to expand their professional network.

For folks who aren't aware of Bumble, it has the typical swipe left/right interface of other dating apps but once you've matched with someone, you have 24 hours to send a message and start a conversation before the match expires. I'm searching for manns and wimmens this time around, let's see what's what~

I think I like coffee meets bagel better. I only really use these apps for like 3 days and then just change my mind about using a dating app and delete them. *shrug*

The actual difference is that women always have to message first.

What's your opinion on guys who post a pic of themselves shirtless? First time I had a dating app my friend Angela made it for me and she chose the pictures I put on there. She chose a shirtless one and I felt kinda like a tool for having it there. I noticed some girls would out comments in their profile that dissed guys who did that too. >.<

I think one is fine. My friend said I need to have at least one "active" photo so I have one with my flag football league trophy.

I've been swiping left on folks who describe themselves as gym enthusiasts and have multiple athletic-focused photos because I know we'd be a mismatch with my lazy ass, lol

Haha. I try to find some people that are more active than me so that it can motivate me to do more/new activities. I really just want someone to go to concerts with and spend time at home cuddled up to watch movies. :3

I feel like I'm in this in-between phase of being down to date seriously and just wanting to meet new people for good times. Companionship is nice. I probably should have waited until the school year ended so I'd have more time in my schedule.

Sometimes I want to have a relationship/partner again, but most of the time I prefer to be alone, reading/watching shows, playing games etc, and I'm not even working right now.

When working, I probably really will want to enjoy my free time alone, so I am holding off on dating, or making new friends till I start working again next month.

If I feel like dating etc after that, I may try again, on the 2 days I'll have any free time a week lol.

For real, just having the free time to schedule dates can feel like a burden. It takes up a lot of energy depending on how much you want to put into it.

It's been so long since I've been in a serious relationship so I've been kinda craving that companionship. Hooking up randomly is nice in its own way I guess but I'm not much of a one-night stander even though my female co-workers seem to think I'm a "whore." Lol. I think if you're not sure if you want something serious then the school schedule isn't such a bad thing right now. You can test the waters and by the time you're out maybe have met someone that you are ready to see more seriously.

I'm also wearing a Paisley shirt and purple sunglasses so ppl probably think I'm artsy lol

I figured they'll find out I smoke eventually lol, kinda sucks cus ive noticed the type of girl I usually like are health conscious.

I think my biggest pet peeves on dating profiles are:
1) Multiple group photos. I don't want to guess which person is actually you! All of my photos are just of me alone.
2) Nothing written in the profile description. You don't have to list all your hobbies and interests or your life story, but dang, think of something to write down there.

I'm now noticing a good amount of women who take most/all of their photos with Snapchat filters, which is also annoying.

My friends have gotten more vocal about "whether I'm gonna start dating any time soon or not".

But man. I enjoy my time alone. A lot. And life already seems hectic without adding dating to it. Granted, I'm not traveling across the world with any sort of frequency any more, so it's at least theoretically possible now.

I really do enjoy being single. Probably gonna die alone with this attitude though tbh

Yesterday I went for a 5km run, a 20km hike and spent an hour in the gym.

Today was a 15km hike and an hour in the gym.

So just fyi <_<

I mean, I have no problem looking at gym enthusiasts! I just can't exercise like that at the moment because I am very out of shape. I'd like to learn how to use gym equipment properly to gain some muscles. I do like going on hikes but 15km would lead to me clutching at my chest after the first 5 >_>
