The nearest thing I've ever had to an addiction are video games and baseball so although I can't understand why, because of my daughter's situation I can wholeheartedly hope you can stay sober for your sake. I only found out at Xmas last year why she got into her mess, and had I known sooner I'd probably be in jail right now for life (she was molested by her now deceased cousin at age 14). I only hope that or something similar isn't why you started knowing how much pain it caused her. Fitness/sports addiction are lowkey something most people disregard due to the image that it must be good because it's physical.
