especially when i've been with the same thing for like 13 years

plus i had to CALL THEM ON THE PHONE to cancel

and she had to do the whole "oooooh we hate to see you go" spiel

I have paid insurance (and for most of it tripple A) and never used either.

Guess thats a good thing, but seems like alot of wasted money to me.

i wanted to do it online but i'm sure they want to be able to guilt you into staying

Yeah, you know there going to do whatever they can to keep you but you just have wait them out. Did the same last month when I cancelled my Dish account.

i was sad to leave geico because they were good to me but i'm trying to find places to save money so i had to go.

I changed insurance companies last year to a company that I get a deal with due to my career as a teacher.

When I called my old company to cancel, they were like "well, we can try to match their offer to convince you to stay", which is really weird that they suddenly can afford to charge me less now that they know I might be leaving.

When I told them I was saving nearly $100 per month with the other company, the guy on the phone was like "well dang, I can't even blame you for switching, that's a steal of a deal".

yeah after i said i was saving $450 a year she said "well as a consumer myself i can understand how you could go with a deal like that" and that was it.

Car insurance should be switched every couple of years or so. I have no love for any single company that its main purpose is to make a profit from you.

Idk my rate never changed so I never switched and it was the lowest I could find until this pay per mile company came about
