Had a blast, but the game is not without its flaws For the most part it feels like fallout 4 with some other players scattered into the world. The first time I came across a ghoul I actually thought it was another player until I got closer. In some areas though the respawn rate of enemies seems a little too quick, so I occasionally felt pressured to loot areas really quickly to avoid fighting the same enemies again. There always seemed to be at least one other player around when this happened so maybe the enemies were respawning as someone else approached idk After leaving the vault players were all over the place and the first area felt like an mmo in a lot of ways with players basically taking turns to use workbenches and go after quest targets. The longer I played the less players I saw though, everyone kinda spread out to go after different objectives. I did a group event quest at one point with no one else around, I gave it a shot and was able to complete it. Ive heard some of them really require at least a few people though No one will believe this but I actually encountered some bugs while playing. Twice I encountered ghouls that fully rendered but didnt animate at all. They basically stood motionless with outstretched arms like some kind of scarecrow action figures while still being able to move around and attack, all while still appearing like statues, it was hilariously terrifying. At another point I had a feral dog not render correctly and its model was all stretched out and wonky. It could attack me but I couldnt target it at all manually or with VATS so I had to run away. There was another dog that I killed and its body clipped through the ground, but no worries when I approached it I clipped through the ground too so I was able to get the valuable dog steaks. Oh and VATS is really weird now in real time. One big change for me is that activating VATS uses some AP even if you dont fire a shot. The thing is though is that you expend this AP even if there isnt anything to be targeted. Nobody is going to have a hard time believing there are bugs, it's pretty much standard sigh with all game releases now adays. Main reason for me to get it is to play with my friends, as I have still not gotten very far in Fallout 4 (I own all the DLC as well and have never played it). I keep trying to get back into it, but I can't get past the start again (I just get too bored) and I hate playing old saves. But, I love playing fallout (the past games all of them) and love playing games with my friends (we just played 7 days to die all day), so I figure this will be worth it just because it's fallout I can play with them. Really wish I could get into/past the early part of fallout 4...i may give it a try again, but I really wanna play Dark Souls 3 now that I FINALLY got the DLC (it was on sale for the first time ever 50% off on steam...finally). Me and my friends are all going ot play that together I think. But yeah, I'm probably gonna give 76 a shot no matter what, just as it's the first time we will be able to play in the fallout universe as a group.
