Has anyone ever realize how both people who are racist or have racist tendencies enjoy the film just as much as people who are against racism?

I find it quite interesting to think about, as the movie clearly has an anti-racism message.

Yeah, I've heard about how the movie is embraced unironically by the occasional Neonazi thanks to how they find the Nazi imagery it displays to be cool while overlooking the narrative around it.

I've been recommended the movie myself from a Youtuber I really, really respect, but then I don't have any money, and I doubt I can just find this off the shelves of my local flea market.

Basically. They emulate the behavior mostly of Derek before his stint but moreso Seth. Like the imagery of the posters and flags and etc.

To be fair, Fight Club confuses a lot of people. American History X kind of makes it obvious what it is doing.

I wish this surprised me but no, it doesn't.

The worst people on the planet idolize the leads in things like this, and Scarface, and Breaking Bad. You might think they'd see the final quarter of these movies/shows and realize how idiotic that makes them look... but if they'd ever had access to critical thinking skills, they wouldn't have become the worst people on the planet in the first place.
