I'm surprised that an European nation in 2018 is pretty blatantly sexist / anti-feminist, but here we are. Listen to this.

When women become mothers, they are strongly "encouraged" by society to stay out of the workforce for extended periods, and look after their children. The vast majority stay out for at least 6 or 12 months, and about two thirds of them don't go back until about 3 years have passed. How crazy is this? German society also stigmatizes women who choose to keep working through the early childhoods of their child / children, which is stupid. Do you know what they're called? Rabenmutter. That literally translates to "raven mother", and clearly isn't a good thing.

Germany clearly wants people to view it as civilised, but I think they're still got a way to go. I expect #metoo isn't much of a thing in Germany.

Or maybe Germans understand that it's inherently better for the child to have their mother around especially in their formative years?

What's wrong with that or how is it anti feminist? Presumably you mean they have good laws for maternity rights. It does a child a great deal of good to have a parent at home full time during those early years.

Honestly don't see how someone who frequently describes women as whores for using tinder can really try to present themselves as being on the side of feminism/women.

True. They allow women up to 3 years off, which is very good, but they apply social pressure to women a lot to force them to take it, which is VERY bad.

And wtf @ your comment abut Tinder. I think is encouraged millennial girls to be (even more) slutty, but not every single one who uses Tinder is a "whore". I wouldn't go quite that far.

I'm from germany and i have no idea what you're talking about.
staying off work is mostly 3-4 months. even fathers can do so, like my brother did, who stayed off work for 3 months.
and "rabenmutter" is also a very different thing.

No, they aren't. They're expected to be full-time mothers...for 3 years.

Sunhawk reading something online for 5 minutes does not make you an expert on anything. Shut the fuck up and stop taking pride in how outrageously ignorant you are about literally every possible subject. Germany is a VERY gender-equal place for the most part, and you, as said, are a frequently sexist shitposter and virgin NEET

Wow. Just like I predicted! How is this any different that when Dawkins says his illegal surveillance of people is completely legal, or what Vegetta makes up stuff? Anyone can just say they're from somewhere with no proof at all, and there's always at least one or two people in a topic who swallow it hook, line and sinker.

To be fair, there have been several German posts on CE, over the years. I can think of (possibly) three people, who I will now attempt to use pixie magic to summon to this topic

@MathMurderer
@ass
@Corbon440

I haven't seen any of those people here recently, though, so I'm not sure if they still use the boards.

It's very convincing, since 80% of it is covered up.

You know, when I was under the age of 18, I wish I'd just shown nightclub bouncers photo ID, but covered up most of it, because then they clearly would've let me straight in. That's a fool proof strategy.

Germans clearly have a low opinion of the intelligence of others. Very low.
