Well the comment on Asians is misguided. Because of the way our immigration system is set up, most Asians coming to America are either refugees or are part of wealthy, educated families. If you look at Vietnamese/Hmong/etc. immigrants, they tend to have the same disadvantages as blacks and hispanics.

I can only speak for myself here but I'm not offended by it, I just recognized early on that it was bad branding considering 80% of the conversation around it is about the name and not police powers and accountability.
Black lives matter, blue lives matter, white lives matter, all lives matter, except criminal lives.

But to reiterate my point about "it's okay to be white", when the simply statement spawns a thousand different tangents . . . clearly there's an emotional prodding where there shouldn't be. Just fucking accept the words as they are, without an insane interpretation and adding baggage to it.

As someone that has argued against police brutality, you shouldn't need the racial argument, all it is, is a shallow attempt and making it "double plus super evil" instead of just a gross misuse of power and public trust, and while there are probably many incidents that occur as a result of racism playing a factor, we shouldn't change laws just as a result of racial demographics, laws should stand on their own merit. (Obviously laws that include racial language are a problem.)

For example, I'm pro-legalization and the racial component reinforces the arguments, but if it was the only argument it wouldn't care much weight as race isn't in the text of the prohibition laws.
