Jim is a bit of an anomaly. He is an SJW but he has a lot of bipartisan support due to how he goes after the big game companies and gamers on all sides tend to have issues with them. Sure, nobody that actually pays close attention should be surprised by stuff like Jim supporting the Vox hit piece, but a lot of people don't pay close attention.

I mean it makes a lot of sense that he is losing subs because he supports Carlos Maza. Carlos Maza is literally starting an adpocalypse 4.0 because of hurt feelings. I don't like Stephen Crowder and I also do believe a lot of his insults towards Carlos Maza was childish, immature, stupid, and plain unfunny... but that is literally not harassment. If his videos were only of that nature than I can see that being harassment, but Crowder also "debunks" the Vox videos that Carlos is in. Carlos should know that if you make political videos that lean towards one side, you are going to have youtubers from the other side that will respond to your videos. I find it even funnier on youtube side and how not only do they mention that Crowder did not break any rules and still gets "demonitized", but youtube managed to find a solution that pisses both sides (Carlos wanted Crowders channel off of youtube, not demontized).

eh, i unsubbed from him a while back due to him injecting too much of his politics into him gaming content

It's not just that. A quick search of Reddit strongly suggests they didn't even try to verify the account. Maybe the amateur gay porn is causing short term memory loss. I don't expect anything from the pro-Crowder lobby, but those of us on the left should know better.
