I want to do a survival mode character on my next play. Stealth or power armor seem like the best solutions, but which has seemed more beneficial on a new survival character? Also, I'd love any general tips.

Not well, and it would be an inefficient build, especially in survival.

General tips? Silenced weapons, Armorer ranks to get Deep Pockets on your gear, enough ranks of the sneak perk so that movement becomes silent, a Dense mod on your torso armor if you don't want to get instagibbed by throwables, scouring all medkits and mirrors should give you enough Antibiotics to deal with infections from sleeping frequently to save your progress. Also, when in doubt, throw a grenade at it.

Stealth is the direction I was leaning. Yeah, I always check mirrors and medkits, even though I have more stimpacks and radaway than I could use. Maybe get demolitions expert. Throwing a grenade against invisible railings and corners would be frustrating. I won't be starting this for a couple days, gonna finish my pistols run. Still want some more input.
