Yeah, he started that confrontation and should have called the cops instead of angrily confronting them.

I looked it up and in August of last year the guy was charged with manslaughter following a probe that confirmed the guy had a history of threatening other drivers with a gun (can't tell if he brandished one in those instances).

Apparently the murderer's lawyers tried to get the prosecutors disqualified, and they have since pushed back against that motion. All happened in June of this year.

I hope this guy gets the max sentence, shame it's only 30 years max.

Oh. For what it's worth, the guy isn't even going for a stand your ground defense, he's going for that "I was so scared, break down of my thoughts in real time" defense. Meaning he'll of course deny fault for anything he did to get himself in that situation while still saying that the "big scary black guy" should not have responded with violence to any threats thrown his way.

Guy started screaming at and threatening the mother and child in the car, for being in a handicapped space. That's when the father came out, and shoved him to the ground. Dude pulled a gun, and shot and killed him.

Initially, there were no charges filed, because of stand your ground. Glad to see they later filed charges.
