Probably in between 5 and 6 a few months back but ever since my boss sold the company to people who operate out of state, I'm able to pretty much show up whenever I want now as long as everything gets done. So 7 or 8 now

6 hours usually. Not quite enough for me, though. I would love to be able to walk eup without my alarm on work days, but that almost never happens.

On weekends, I usually sleep between 7 and 8 hours a night.

Probably 5 to 6. I usually have about 7 hours before my alarm goes off when I make it to bed. I don't sleep well and wake up multiple times every night. Even if I'm asleep.for a total of 6 hours it isn't even a good 6 hours.

I average about 4 1/2 - 5 a night during the work week. But during the weekend I'll "make it up" by getting 8-10.

How do people sleep 7-8 hours? That's a lot of the day being taken up by sleep.

Long enough working evenings, nights, and night splits (3am-7am) that, retired, I sleep like a cat. Sleep a few hours, get up and do stuff for a few hours, repeat. I probably average 6 to 8 hours of sleep out of 24.

About 4 hours on work nights. I'm a night owl and have to wake up too damn early for work, I hate it.

Try to make it up on weekends and often times take a nap for an hour when I get home. Usually by Wednesday/Thursday I just plain "crash" not long after dinner, only to wake up at like midnight or so and not be tired for a while, which...just perpetuates the cycle further.

Need to find a job where I can come in at like 10 am....

6:49 average this month. 6:55 last month. But I often wake up multiple times per night, my deep sleep levels are extremely low, and I'm a bit low on my REM sleep. It's no wonder I'm tired all the time.

Fuck if i know, my sleeping habits have always been weird. At a guess, I probably average 8-9, but I have a fair number of days where I get like 3-5 and other days where I sleep like 10-14 hours, and I usually get at least one or two times a month where I'm up for 24-28 hours.

On average 4-5 hours but it also depends on what I am doing the following day. I once did a 10 mile hike after three hours of sleep only because the hike kept me moving. That same three hours of sleep would have me nodding off at work since I am sitting down majority of the time.

Waking up miltiple times may not be good. But I did hear that it was more normal for people to go to sleep early, then wake up in the middle of the night for a few hours to do certain things, then goo back to sleep for the rest of the night. So, like 2 short sleeping sessions broken up by a couple hours awake...

In the old days, I used to get by just fine on 4 hours of sleep a night. Anything more felt like I was just wasting time that could be better spent doing other things.

As I get older, I find I seemingly need more sleep. Now I generally sleep about 8 hours (or more accurately, I sleep 4 hours, wake up to piss, then sleep for another 4 hours).

I actually tend to get headaches if I try to sleep much longer than what I need. So, for example, if I tried to sleep 10-12 hours, it would probably be just about as bad as not enough sleep.
