Wow, I really thought that a sequel to a movie that came out almost 40 years ago would have definitely sucked but it was fantastic. It has bombed pretty hard in theaters though I guess lol

I'm surprised as I really didn't like the novel. If the movie is good, perhaps it is a case of the film being better then the movie.
I don't remember specifics (sadly can't remember much of what I have read, over 10,000 books easy) but something was off about the book if I remember right. Only thing I remember was I didn't like it. Vaguely remember something about a kitchen with some new boy (or maybe it was the same one but older) at the very start of it I think.
