Ok, I got a one pot recently and it's good for alot of things, but it's SERIOUSLY good for soup.

Been making a variety of extremely flavorful soups all week.

You can use the sautee function to brown/toast the onions/mushrooms etc initially (bell peppers when I had some), and then just add the brocolli and broth and set it to pressure cook for 1 minute.

Brocolli comes out very soft, just how I like it, and it mixes in all the flavors so well (including the garlic and other spices (pepper/red pepper flakes etc).

Today though for the first time, after pressure cooking it, I added wontons and let it cook for 2 minutes (sautee function) with the wontons in the soup. I love wonton soup but have never had any luck making it at home. The trader joe's wontons were meh at best, and making my own never worked out well.

Well I did a search online and found some good wontons and H&L produce near me had Annie Chuns pork and Ginger wontons (one of the options on the list).

Seriously freaking insanely good. You don't need a one pot to make soup with them (you can also pan fry them etc if you like pot stickers etc), but I highly recommend finding them if you like wontons at all. I gotta figure out how to make that delicious chilli sauce they serve wontons in at good chineese places (Which don't exist in washington it seems).

Anyway took a total of 10 minutes, about 3 or so to sautee everything, then 5 for the pressure cooker to start and cool down enough, then 2 for the wontons. I'd rate it a 10 for soups easily.

I went to their website and they have other flavors, I really wanna try the chicken and garlic ones if I can find em. Anyway here is a link for fellow wonton lovers!!

Advantage of making the soup yourself vs from a can. They put a ton of salt in the canned stuff to preserve it. Only salt that goes into mine is from the broth (which doesn't have that much).
