Wolfy here again and well, it's been awhile. Sadly a few years ago, Albertsons bought out Safeway and since then we have not had many good deals at all. The days of 20% off your entire order while having 5$ ribeyes and 1.40$ boneless skinless chicken thighs/breasts are long gone it seems. So sad.

But anyway there is at least a semi-decent setup this week at safeway. You can get ribeye steaks for $6.99 or $5.99 if you buy the roast (neat trick, you can call ahead and have them cut a roast up into steaks (Even thin cut steaks ...which Is what I do) for the $5.99 price hehe). That itself is a pretty good deal consdiering the cost of meat has skyrocketed seriously, and instead of that being about half off, it's more like 1/3rd the normal price now.

Meanwhile, while you sadly can not get 20% off your total order, you CAN get 10 points if you spend $100 or more. In case you don't know those points can be used to reduce the cost of gas (10cents per point)..which basically halves the cost of gas right now. If you have a 20 gallon tank (or you have gas canister etc to fill up), you can get about 20$ off for spending 100.

IF not, you can now use those points on deals, the best one for me usually, is spending 4 points for $7 off anything in the meat department. That sadly isn't quite $20 off...for spending 100....but it's about $18....which is still really good.

There are a ton of other things on good sale as well of course, but that is the best deal. Remember to always check your just for you before going shopping, it takes a few minutes to add a ton of deals. I believe Gatorades are currently 69 cents but with just 4 you, you drop it another 20....so basically 50 cents each. Corn is 3 for a dollar, and shrug just a ton of other good deals.
