I'd have to get a PS4 for it, but I'm also sick of dodging spoilers left, right, and center -- and if I wait too long, it's just going to become common knowledge. So if it's worth it, I might bite the bullet after the PS5 releases and get one.

I should note that I DID play P5 vanilla when it came out, so I've seen a lot of the content already (I think).

It's an improvement in nearly all facets, but if you've already played the original it probably isn't worth dishing out the full $60 + the cost of a PS4.

You could roll the dice and see if it pops up on PC.

It actually is better, aside from the fact that it's even easier than the base game. The added dungeon/story stuff is all pretty interesting, fits thematically, and is better integrated than the Marie stuff from P4G.

Also they didn't work Haru into the overall story more

There is so much QoL stuff:

The dungeons just feel a little bit more open and have a little more personality, what with the additions to the boss battles, the Will Seeds, and the grappling hook.

You have unlimited bullets in dungeons now (that only deplete for a single battle).

You can do stuff almost every night, instead of having Morgana tell you to go to sleep.

There are a lot more opportunities for stat boosts outside of wasting a whole day or night just to get an upgrade.

Also, some of the most annoying dungeons had their worst sections shortened or streamlined to make them more bearable.

If youve already played vanilla, wait until it goes down in price. Virtually nothing is changed, content wise, in the main game, so unless youre dying to replay it, it can feel like a slog trying to get to the new stuff.

No way is it worth buying a PS4 and the game if you've already played the original.
