I watched an RE8 trailer yesterday and that made me want to actually finish RE7 so I can get caught up.(I tried playing it in VR last time and had to stop after like 30 mins because it got me very sick. Haven't gone back to it in like a year)
Wow, this game is really bad ass. Not sure if I like it as much as RE2 and 3 remakes, but it's sure up there. I just hope RE8 is even better.

BTW, am I almost done? I'm at the part where I'm playing as Mia on the boat, just got the machine gun.

I just beat 7 a few days ago myself. I absolutely loved it. I had also played 6 for the first time before that and it was abysmal, so the turnaround is great. 6 is definitely my least favorite RE and 7 is up there as one of my favorites. It was actually creepy/scary and I think the scarcity of enemies actually adds to that. The puzzles were fun, the environment was interesting, the story wasn't a mess and had memorable characters. Overall a great game, definitely looking forward to VIII myself.

Based on where you said you're at, you're fairly close to the end. I'd say about an hour to an hour and a half of gameplay left, if that.

I just got to the main house part. I can only play a bit at a time though before I get too anxious I do not like these hillbillies

I beat the game and I'm running through Not a Hero. Man, I really hope RE8 is just as good. I'm a little skeptical, since Capcom loves to shit the bed after making good RE games.
