Getting stuck on the side of a cliff in the wilderness in another country with some friends when we were all 14-15 and having to climb across.

This time when I was 7 and playing with my brother and two friends in a field just after sunset, and a redneck neighbor teen and his friends accused us of throwing rocks at his truck on the road and his friend flashed a rifle at us.

Going under for throat surgery.

For some reason the thought of going to sleep and never waking up again didn't bother me too much other than the effect it would have on my family members, but the moment right before the anesthesia kicked in was a bit freaky (as in I was scared it wouldn't).

Moving stuff out of my childhood house and getting an absolutely overwhelming feeling that something was watching me, something that did *not* want me there

Almost getting blown off a mountain on my honeymoon in Patagonia.

We heard it was windy but didn't expect gusts strong enough to pick me (along with a pack that probably weighed around 25 lbs) up off my feet and throw me while we were hiking along a beach.

Once we got up into the mountains, we heard the wind start to pick up again, and all I could do was drop to the ground and hope it wasn't strong enough to blow me off. Fortunately it quantum, but I could still feel myself moving slightly even though I was essentially lying there on the ground.

I still get a bit spooked when I hear heavier wind than normal.

When my car did a 450-degree spinout on a busy freeway going full speed and I narrowly avoided getting slammed in the driver's door by three cars in a row. I would almost certainly have died if they hadn't managed to swerve out of the way in time.

Almost got dragged down a 45 degree angled street that was iced over by own car which would have slid down and plowed into a house if I hadn't jumped out and physically grabbed it from the front when the handbrake failed, also giving myself a minor burn by touching the underside of the car in the process

Almost drowned while swimming in the ocean in Okinawa as a kid. Blacked out, woke up some unknown period of time later on some rocks like 50-75 feet away. Don't remember how I got there.

I can still find the road overlooking the seawall on Google maps and see the exact spot where it happened and the rocks I ended up on.
