These are what I have:
Splatoon 2
FE:TH
Pokemon Let's Go: Eevee
Puyo Puyo/Tetris
Animal Crossing
Super Mario Party
Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon
Mario Tennis Aces
My Hero One's Justice
Crash Bandicoot: N Sane Trilogy
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Super Dragonball Heroes

I have a PS4 Pro and an Xbox One X for multiplatform games, so leave those out please.

I'm kind of wanting Shield, but because of the mixed reception and the DLCs being out, I'm thinking it might be better to wait for a GotY edition with the DLCs on it or something.

If you like old school RPGs, Octopath Traveler might be your thing. Also Bravely Default 2 is coming out next year.

Also Pokemon Sword/Shield. Not the best Pokemon games, but I have been playing them for months and still having fun with them, especially the post game.

I borrowed Octopath Traveler from a friend, and I really liked it. I already beat it though, so no need to get it.

Dragon Quest XI

Dragon Quest XI definitive edition or w/e it's called is coming to Xbox Gamepass soon, so I get to play it for free, and in 4K.

I'm kind of interested in the Xenoblade games. I ignored 2 because I never played the first one, but they remastered it on the Switch or something? How are those games?

I know you said not to mention multi system games, but where ever you might play them, look up the Cat Quest games.

Ni no Kuni is probably my fave JRPG since FFX... I loved it. Highly recommended. It's basically a playable Studio Ghibli movie. The Digimon Cybersleuth double pack is the closest thing to a Persona game on Switch, there's that too. Atelier Ryza is super chill and sorta a "cutesy" thing. I dunno what you're into, but they're all good.

I like them. For me, it took a little to get use to the combat. But once you do, it makes the game much better... I would say X is my favorite, with 1 after that. But only 1, 2, and Torna are on Switch. I would still recommend them, though...

Ni no Kuni

I have to get back into this. I'm not stuck, but I'm trying to catch everything... And stopped for some reason...

I would also highly recommend the Xenoblade games. Definitely some of the top tier JRPGs in recent years.

Xenoblade is well worth going for. I personally like 1 the best, but 2 is also well worth playing.

Also, if you haven't already got it on 3DS, Rune Factory 4 is amazing. It's also amazing if you do have it already, but it's less worth buying.
