my wife is Filipina luckily

i think she was taught to efficiently cut up mango when she was still a toddler

all I have to do is act like a bumbling white dude for a second and BAM

I can't recall ever having a mango proper, but I like mango yogurt.

I love cantaloupes... and there's like NOTHING that's cantaloupe flavoured, the only reason I don't buy them as much is they are hella messy

It's good, but definitely not my favorite fruit.
And yeah, too much work for me usually.

Yes! Mango yogurt is amazing!
And more specifically, mango lassi drinks.
I tried to make mango lassi at home, but...it didn't come out right at all (too "gritty" / not "smooth" consistency, and the taste isn't as sweet... just how important is the cardamom, cause I can't even find that in stores?)

Mango lasse is so good. My dadji used to make them for me.

I've never had homemade but tried ones you can buy in store and they're really nice.

only one of those she has ever made me was lumpia which was great

she was born here so most of the filipino stuff she knows is stuff she learned when she was really little from relatives

My boxing coachs wife was Filipino. So Im well acquainted with the food. Dont sleep on that avocado milkshake. Fucking amazing.

The first time I did shrooms we had packed mangoes as a snack and while we were tripping we brought them out and ate them and the sweet mango flesh and juice dribbling down my throat was like ambrosia.
