Overall, I really liked it! It was a big departure from the series as a whole but it was also the most scared I got playing the games in a long time. I had to stop playing after Jack started chasing me around upstairs because of how much him popping up there freaked me out.

Ethan was a good character, not sure what role he's returning in, but I don't mind playing as him again. Mia was pretty whatever - for the whole plot to be about saving her I never really liked her enough to feel like I needed to save her.

Felt really bad for the Baker family (except Lucas, fuck Lucas) and I actually strangely felt bad for Evie too? Yeah, she was crazy, but her moaning "Why does everyone hate me?" when she just wanted a family to love her actually did make me feel sad for her.

Chris killing Lucas DLC was great, End of Zoe DLC made me angry at how little sense it made. Family was the most important thing to this uncle that was never mentioned before but he didn't realize his family that he apparently lived right by was infected for three years? Alright then.

Mia. While I personally didn't care for her, she was the focus of the game so I felt like I had to. And it's not like I found Zoe super likeable either.

Great game but I really feel the lack of enemy variety can make replays kind of dull. Once the Bakers are done the Molded really can't carry the game well.

This is a fair point. After the Old House had bugs I expected each area to have a different enemy. Not just variations of molded

First half of that game is legitimately outstanding, but it falls off in the second half

It's because his cells were too far gone at that point, even the cure couldn't overtake them. Also about Joe, yes he cared about family but he was also estranged and lived as a hermit which is why he wasn't aware of what was going on with them. You can still care about your family even if you don't keep in contact with them. Also it's RE and sometimes things only make the loosest amount of sense!
