There's obvious, measurable harm being done, but that's not something Instagram itself can do much about, nor that can be regulated without trying to dictate how people conduct themselves on the platform to an incredibly invasive, restrictive degree. That harm is a consequence of how people are behaving on the platform, not anything the platform itself is doing or can reasonably control, so correcting the harm is going to have to involve a cultural shift. --- This is my signature.
