I can't find anyone that actually likes these. I have a few friends that collect the rare ones to sell when they go up in price, but even those guys don't actually like them and agree with me that they're ugly.

I know taste is subjective, but I want to know what part of those ugly things are even remotely appealing to people.

I like them because they have an exaggerated style that allows for crossover between different media and intellectual properties, making them all seem like part of the same set while simultaneously retaining enough of their obvious characteristics that you can still easily identify what they were originally based on.

All of your topics are ugly, and I have to find anybody who likes them. I want to know what part of your topics are appealing to people.

But more to the point, I generally don't care for the mouth-less ones, but the ones with mouths (or characters who don't have them) often look cute or neat.








Plus they look good both in package (with art) and outside it.

And I like that they have full body sculpting, as opposed to some other SD formats which went the designer vinyl route like the Mighty Muggs (although it has many cute ones as well, like the Megatron and Starscream -- and it has the benefit of multiple faces)

Beyond that, I prefer the Mystery Minis line, but Funko doesn't cover as many properties for it. However, I'll mention I picked up both the Mystery Minis Molten Man and the Pop! Molten Man (despite the Mystery Minis one generally being the better design)

I knew a couple who had so many of them. They lined the upstairs walls with them. Not like glued to the wall or anything. Just tacked on top of each other. And one room had them lining the wall, as well So many of them

I can't imagine actually collecting them for the sake of it. But I do have a handful.

I have all the Critical Role ones (plus a WWE Asuka one). That's really it tho. The Vex'ahlia on a broom one (603) and the Trinket one (the bear - 611) were probably the hardest to acquire.
