Hitler did have blue eyes.

Iirc it was more Himmler who believed the blond hair blue eye stuff. He was obsessed with Nordic traits. Very few of the nazi leadership actually fit that description. There were also some rather insane beliefs and actions even for literal Nazi's.

(Like when Himmler tried to abduct half a million kids who fit his weird world view of what a person should look like)
