Well, I'll make up for it by voting early today...what is this first match? Did these two songs make it in for the express purpose of going against each other? ...Yeah, I'm going to say they did. Neither belongs here. Like, I'm literally putting them next to each other, with a greater than sign before the former, before even listening to the other four songs because I fully expect them to be #5 and #6. Desert Dunes (Desert) quickly reaffirms this belief by being good. Unwavering Belief has a bit too much "epic" syndrome. It's good, but it's trying too hard. A sports game with original music? Weird. I tend to remember them as mostly having licensed music. And...this isn't good. I had the game in the second match, but I was quite young so I never got very far in it, and now my Sega Genesis doesn't work. I didn't really remember the soundtrack standing out at the time, but this is pretty good! MaxGalactica 07/07/22 12:28:53 PM #28:	I like some aspects of Narwhal (Rogue Legacy edition). Particularly the e-guitar portions in the second half. Melody is ok. Kinda weird to have the James Bond-esque motif in there, but it's whatever. Ok song overall. NARWHAL (Punishing: Gray Raven edition) is significantly cooler. The intro has some neat ambient effects, but once it really gets going, it gets really cool with really great synths and production. Vocals are great too. Good EDM stuffs. Easy vote for this one too. Desert Dunes is pretty good as well. Some neat synths, good e-guitar, and some nice string samples too. The DnB-esque drums aren't my favorite, but they're fine. Good song overall. I like the dubstep elements in Unwavering Belief. The fake choirs are a bit much though. The e-guitar at 3:19 is good as well. There are a lot of things to like in this song, but at the same time, it suffers from "Epic Dramatic" syndrome, where it feels like it's trying too hard to be as dramatic as possible, which isn't my favorite thing. I don't like the initial shift into the second half either, but the song somehow ascends into a glorious epic by 4:37 and pretty much stays up there for the rest of its runtime. I know it's well-trodden ground to be shocked at the high quality of an OST coming from an unlikely source... but really, this is from a golf game?! My god this is good.
