KCF0107 07/17/22 9:08:05 PM #3:	There is like one great 3D Zelda (MM, haven't played BotW) while there are a fair more 2D ones (LttP, FSA, LA, OoS). Super Mario is my favorite series. There's just tons of high quality games from both types. Much more atmospheric, more memorable dungeons and bosses, infinitely more engaging combat, so on and so forth. I don't at all get the love for 2D Zelda. Platform games are a different story. And while I think 3D Mario has the higher highs, 2D Mario is my preference simply in the way it plays. Zelda 3D > 2D is a close one but the exploration and grandeur is better in 3D. Mario is a pretty easy 2D > 3D for me.
