I had to buy 18000 diamonds total to get there. I've been playing for 3 years.

There are only 15 V levels and it costs around $5,000 to get to V15.

Step 2: How many hours of playtime have you gotten?
Step 3: Division
Step 4: Evaluate

The cost per hour of playtime isn't necessarily the best metric for evaluating games, since there are a lot of other factors that go into determining how worthwhile one feels their time with the game was and relying too much on it results in games being padded to inflate their perceived value, but it's not a bad starting point and identifying extreme cases of good/poor value is pretty easy. If you've spent $20 and played for 500 hours, that's pretty good. If you've spent $500 and played for 20 hours, that's pretty bad (though honestly, $25/hour is better than a surprising number of other entertainment options, particularly any live performance).

idk about all this but i have played this game daily for 3 years and it brings me a lot of enjoyment so i just buy stuff that i want. i make my money so i spend it on what i want and i want these damn outfits

It's a GameFAQs skin. It's the one I still use because they won't let me use V11 any more. And I've never liked V9 like all the really old GF hipsters do.

My wife and I used to play Love Nikki. We did spend some money on it. She always feels bad and I just tell her as long as shes enjoying it I dont mind paying.

Nowhere near that amount, but we dont have that in disposable income either.

She also gets pretty bored of mobile games pretty quick due to how grindy they are.

That's a bad thing. If you've got the money to blow without causing issues, then it's not an immediate problem, but you should still be able to keep track of your spending well enough to at least give a ballpark figure. Not doing so is a really bad habit to get into.

I never track my spending. I have healthy savings and just spend what spare money I want. Also I did give a ballpark figure. I said thousands. I know it's between $1-3k over three years.

I don't care for microtransactions or feel particularly compelled to buy them, but I've actually always had a little bit of an interest in women's fashion. Like I'm not interested in wearing it, but I'm often fascinated by the designs and styles. In Pokemon X and Y I really enjoyed mixing and matching different outfits and accessories for the female trainer.

Yeah im not super fashionable in real life but I love fashion as an art form. This game has really beautiful art and styling so I really get enjoyment out of playing.

I spent quite a bit on Fate Grand Order but quit spending on it a year or more ago. My current servants carry me and I get lucky with pulls sometimes.
