It gets a little much when all of New York is assassins and they prove it by making them all freeze. I will watch every last one of them though and despite those things I dislike I love the series. To me its just great action that you dont see as often these days. Its still a mysterious underground world thats a bit over the top. It gets a little much when all of New York is assassins and they prove it by making them all freeze. The 1st movie felt generic AF the headshots and lack of camera cuts made it stand out. The sequels had their own vibe. Like Laurence Fishburn reuniting with Keanu Reeves on screen. It became something else entirely. A new style of action movie. I will watch every last one of them though and despite those things I dislike I love the series. To me its just great action that you dont see as often these days. My all time favorite movies are 80s and 90s action movies and this series fits in with them for me. Same here fucking love these flicks.
