How far is everyone? I just finished the dungeon in the northwest last night. Think I'll stop by Kakariko since I haven't yet.

I have 2 diamonds, 1000 lizard guts, 500 swords bows and shields and no armor

Is there any way to save what arrow you want to use or do you have to go into the fuse menu every time?

One thing I've found rather strange so far is the story. I don't know if this stuff will get explained or mentioned later, but there has been virtually no reference at all to the events of Breath of the Wild. Ganondorf seems to be somehow completely unrelated to Calamity Ganon. The Champions have not been acknowledged at all. The Divine Beasts no longer seem to exist. Maybe that will change as I get further into the story, but it hardly feels like a sequel to BOTW as far as the story is concerned.

Fuse every time.

But you don't have to be aiming to fuse. You can just push up with the bow drawn.

especially since as far as I can tell theres not an easy way to see what effect a fuse adds to the arrow in that menu

I still don't even know what the rockets are for. Seriously. What, if any, is the point of them?

Well no, but several item descriptions are explicit about what the item does.

And some are pretty easy to figure out.

You have to buy armor. It doesn't drop in this game. There's a few pieces you can get through adventuring but not many.

Ive only done the Rito dungeon. Trying to get the Froggy armor and got distracted following the tunnel that opens after you complete the first dungeon

I didn't really have a hard time with the dodges. For me he only did two variations of thrust, one with a rush towards you first, and another quicker one that is more stationary. I found that as long as I erred on the safe side, I'd still jump out of the way, just not triggering the flurry rush.

In case people dont know how to dupe equipment:

1. Equip the sword/bow/shield you want to dupe
2. Save the game
3. w/o exiting the menu, drop the equipped weapon
4. equip a different weapon
5. Press + twice really quickly so you leave and enter the pause menu almost insantly
6. drop the equipped weapon
7. w/o leaving the menu, load the save you made

When it loads, a copy of the 1st equipment will be on the ground

Where do you get it?

LOL, so there's a sky island with 3 moveable floating platforms. You can just make your own path across the sky... very slowly...

Shit, if you take them too far, they disappear the same way wings do, LOL.
