Not as a rule.
Sometimes I'll give a powerful legendary an incongruous name just because. Like naming Mewtwo 'Keith', or Zacian 'Susan'. Nah I don't even in nuzlockes. There I literally just name them 1, 2, 3, etc. Otherwise no nicknames.
