I never have
I've heard that there is growing evidence that companies are overestimating the effectiveness of adds and are spending way too much on them.

No, but I have gone out of my way to not buy brands after seeing/hearing some ads, as petty as that sounds.

Yes, but for some reason only fb/ig ever shows me anything I'd actually be interested in. Places like gamefaqs apparently only get ads for the offest of brands

Actually same lol. I did buy a t-shirt once though that someone I watch on YouTube did a sponsorship with, I was a fan of their designs. Decent T, fits well & comfortable so eh

In the rare event I see something I'm interested in, I look at it on another site to spite the ad.

Closest thing I can think of is when I watched It, saw one of the characters wearing an Anthrax shirt, thought "I should see what Anthrax has been up to lately," and bought the Evil Twin album.

No you'd have to be a complete idiot to do that. Like you shouldn't be allowed in public and your access to the internet should be taken away because of how stupid and easily influenced you are. Maybe your parents should hire a babysitter for you too.

No and if I constantly keep seeing an ad of the same thing, it makes me want it even less because Im reminded of the aggravation.

Yeah, but I think only when it's an ad for a site I've already bought something from, usually a sale.

tbh, I only click on ads if it looks like fap material. Then the image from the ad is rarely on the website so it's a waste of time

I did a few times.

All but one were pieces of clothing. One i knew of the brand and reviewed to see if the item was at a meaningful sale price as opposed to normal price.
The other clothing item I researched the brand and after determining that they were indeed legit, bought on of their cheaper shirts.
Another was cheap graphic tee that was on sale that I liked wearing to the gym and/ or as a pajama shirt.

The one non-clothing item I got were some novelty cookie cutters. I suck at making sugar cookies, so Im they were a waste of money, but they were cheap.
