I finally hit endgame a few days ago. I haven't really tackled anything on the last difficulty (besides the boss fight to unlock it) as I've been grinding mastery and sigils for a buncha my characters now.

I haven't really done any quick quests either as I'm a bit scared off because of how horrendous the down scaling is from what I've heard. Hopefully they put out a patch soon but devs have been pretty quiet so far.

How are y'all doing in the game?

Got to Proud difficulty, weapon still stuck at 150. Need to farm vitality hooves.

Quick quest is fine, don't worry about it.

Unlocked Extreme today, working through for Maniac so I can finally start burning my crew cards. So far, nothing too hard, and even S++'d a few Extreme bosses first go. I hear Maniac's initially a wall though.

Zeta's aiming needs work though, I straight missed on divebombs against broken, stationary Mannagarmr today.

Yeah I grinded Extreme Assault Formation quite a bit before tackling Maniac (which is quite a slog in amount of quests you need to do to unlock Proud mode and the Transmarvel option for sigils). Maniac was a bit of a wall because even with my levelled up dudes I was still getting one shorted from time to time and that was with Cag's Buff and Siegfried's defense and drain buffs

There's just something I adore about Yodas gameplay. I know he isn't the most tip top on the DPS tier list and it takes a while to ramp up his damage but just...dude is so dang flashy yet simple at the same time lol. Quite literally a little blade storm. Love the I frames on his combo finisher and flashing void. Oh, and giving invincibility to the whole team for a set amount of hits.

I'm still playing through the story. Currently on chapter 9.

Goddamn, these multiple bosses at once fights are fun.

And just finally hit a wall with The Final Report. Wouldn't be so frustrating if the AI didn't die so much (including during the DPS phase).

Yeah that one was pretty rough first go around. Even with Potion Hoarder 15 I was like shit...I'm chewing through these way too fast. And then the DPS check hit and I wiped lol

The one time I did get the fight to the final DPS check without the AI fucking up, I at least got him down to 1% before wiping. Just doing a bit of weapon work now, mostly Awakenings on Zeta's weapon, and should be able to knock it out tomorrow, AI permitting.

God this game is addicting.

I haven't really done too much in the awakening department. I'm using the crit weapon on most of my characters because at base lv150 it's stronger than the base ascension weapons. Haven't really gotten off my ass to learn the fight for the terminus weapons yet.

And yeah the game is addicting. And I like how despite how grindy it is, it gives you an option to auto battle grind mats and stuff. Just missing a few key quality of life improvements and maybe some tweaking to the damage formulas so that 1/3rd of every build isn't just Damage Cap sigils and at least 1/2+ of the build is using the same stuff like Supplementary Damage, War Elemental, etc

And got Final Report first try today, even if the DPS check was by the skin of my teeth. Time for Proud.

I need to hurry up and finish up with persona 3 reload so I can get in on this game's online play while the online community numbers is still pretty high.

I am glad this game seems to be doing pretty well what with the news that it sold over 1 million copies....hopefully that means a lot of the playerbase sticks around for awhile.

Oh nice, didn't know you guys had a Relink general. I've been maining Cagliostro, though I'm mostly done at this point. Her terminus needs two more awakenings, got terminus weapons for almost everyone else and I'm thinking of picking up Vane as an alt. Wanna be ready for Lucilius next month.

I've been chugging through Maniac. I switched from Zeta to Narmaya about 2/3 through the main story and she just clicked for me.

I'm also p much done. Haven't really tried for Terminus weapons yet. Kinda just waiting for more content and better QoL stuff. I don't really like having to make at least half of my builds be the same for all characters because of damage cap shenanigans.

Haven't really played a lot since unlocking the proud fights, unless you count AFK'ing Assault Formation for unreasonable amounts of time.

Finally going on the proud fights, generic mobs cleared at the small cost of sanity. Fuck the Blizzadile + 2 Scarmiglione one in particular.

Not looking forward to dual dragons and Gallanza/Maglielle shitfest.

Affair with Narmaya is currently on hold. Now Siegfried is new best friend.

One of the dual dragons was fine but the wind and ice dragon fight is the only time the game had me seething. Pure bullcrap.

Double dragons and GalMag down without much fuss somehow. But yet trying to get S++ on extreme Vulkan Bolla drove me insane.

Kinda stuck in that fight now. Need to rethink entire build for that but I traded in most lower tier sigils so I gotta grind for that too

I hear plugging in the Glaciated Resistance or whatever to help deal with the bullshit ice hazards helps a bit

Guts, Potion Hoarder, and Autorevive are very much appreciated in this fight (and really, all of Proud). Though you probably want them as add-ons to offensive sigils or from wrightstones rather than just on their own.

For the fight itself, I focused on wind before ice. Ice is annoying as all hell for sure (fuck glaciate), but wind can just decimate you in no time flat. Especially if you're playing solo, the AI is not great with surviving its attacks.

All quests cleared, even somehow managed a S++ on my first run of Pyet-A. Now to grind the fuck out of ProtoBaha. It's like I'm still just playing the mobile game.

And got my first Terminus after only five runs or so. Got Ferry's, which is fine since she's a party mainstay.

Got 4 after about 30-40 runs total, my bud got 6 in those same runs.

Ice and wind dragon fight f'd me up something awful tonight. Gonna keep farming mats to top off my party weapons/masteries since I've been coasting on throwing everything at Narmaya and Siegfried.

How is this game overall? I was hyped for it when it was initially revealed, but the years of delays kind of killed my interest in it.

Really really well done. Main story is okay and clocks in at around 10 or so hours but it's just to get to the brunt of the game which is the post game grind. Think of a more anime monster hunter with occasional emphasis on regular mobs instead of everything just being boss rushes.

Also wondering how the game is, but for different reasons than the poster above: I want to give it an honest shot, but I don't want to get too into it before Dawntrail comes out, because that's what all my friends play, and I only got time for one MMO in my life.

This is far from an MMO. Its not even live service, itll get a few updates and then its done. Play the story, do the postgame stuff, then keep getting gear so you can kill stuff faster and more efficiently if you want but after the last quest is done you basically just finished the game.

And Zeta's Terminus fully awakened. So fucking tired of Pyet-A after that, maybe I'll just go into the slime mines for a while.
