Limited fast travel.

If it's anything like the first one, you'll find a ferrystone to get you home at your quest destination.

Beat me to it.

I pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of DD2 last night. I was looking at Ronin a couple days ago amd it is very tempting. I think I'll be okay to wait for Ghost of Tsushima 2 though. We'll see.

Don't know about that, suspect it's quite auteur led rather than focus grouped, and so will have design choices which will probably frustrate some.

Almost certainly my GOTY (I loved the first one) though.

Depends.

Like said earlier, in the first game you had something called a ferrystone and...I think they were called port crystals. You would take the port crystals and then drop them somewhere on the map then use ferrystones to teleport to the port crystals. Ferrystones were consumables but they eventually brought about the eternal ferrystone which gave unlimited uses.

I think in the first game there was something like...4-5 port crystals? Which was enough because the first games world map wasnt extensively large. With how ambitious they are sounding with 2, I expect the world map to be much larger but we'll have to see how many port crystals they give us, and that's if they bring that system over.
