Because my idea of roasting a marshmallow is to stick it into a flame for a little bit so it catches fire and then extinguish the flame after it has been burning long enough to melt the insides. Because my idea of roasting a marshmallow is to stick it into a flame for a little bit so it catches fire and then extinguish the flame after it has been burning long enough to melt the insides. It takes too long to do it "right" and if I mess up, the marshmallow just falls off the stick.
