The adventure mode is great in itself, but man, you're in for a treat! PVZ really comes alive post-game.

working on survivor and still getting the zen garden up. The marigolds do not create money very fast, but it is something peaceful to do sometimes.

The tree is so expensive to grow so I'm not even dealing with it right now. I still need to buy the zones for my sleeping/water plants...

What is considered a reasonable way to earn gold?

Also, while the Zen Garden may not produce much money at first, the cash will eventually start rolling in as you get more plants!
