Maven asks what happened to the vamps, but is cut off by Demott dragging him to the ring (D+) Bill Demott and Maven d. Too Cool (D+) Dusty Rhodes is hyping his title match with Sting to HERO OF TIME and Jeff Jarrett backstage. Jarrett asks why Dusty's getting the title shot, didn't he bring HERO OF TIME in to help him? HERO OF TIME assures Jarrett that once Dusty shows Jarrett how to beat Sting, Jarrett will be able to beat Sting for the title no problem-- Jarrett opens his mouth to say something, but then facepalms and walks away. (B-)

SHOWTIME:

Scott Hall d. The Great Muta (B-) After the match, Daffney and Cena come and beat Hall down, and drag him backstage (B+)

The Globetrotters are backstage with Mickie James and a giant wheel in the background. Kennedy explains that this wheel will revolutionize the tag division! Whatever is spinned will be the stipulation for their tag title defense! He orders Mickie to use Spin Attack! She won't obey... so Umaga spins the wheel, and it lands on... a foam party match! Umaga shoves Kennedy and shouts gibberish while Kennedy swears that wasn't on the wheel. (C+) The Globetrotters d. Public Enemy in a Foam Party Match (D) (eye candy based matches do not play to my strengths duly noted)

Disco and Alex Wright show up and say they rigged the wheel to show what a joke The Globetrotters are making the tag division. They challenge them to a title match at "It's Showtime, Folks! In Your House!" the Globetrotters accept! (C)

Austin says he wants Glacier's ass. Glacier says there is one last step in the training... he must prove himself against the ultimate training... ICE TRAIN...ING (D+) Austin d. Ice Train in particularly vicious fashion. (C+) Glacier and The Hurricane come down and congratulate Austin... he snaps! He stuns them both, and beats them both savagely with a chair! Austin blasts the company and Glacier, saying he's carrying this whole damn show and he's got better stuff to do than fight circus acts, jackasses on drugs, and women-- he's ending Glacier's career Sunday and moving onto the damn title afterwards. (C+) (Austin's heel turn was a complete success)

Hall is tied to a chair on the stage. Cena's beating him with a pipe. Daffney says this can stop if Sting just gives Cena a title shot! Sting shows up on the tron and says he doesn't give a damn what they do to Hall, but if Cena wants a title shot, all he has to do is beat down Daffney. Cena pauses... says he's done with random beatings, he won't do i-- Daffney smacks him with DAT PIPE~ and asks that she get the title match! Before Sting humors it much, Cena recovers and tosses Daffney off the stage THROUGH A TABLE! Sting laughs and nods, telling Cena he's got his match. (A)

Suicide, Man of Mystery d. Juvi, Zack Ryder, and Yokozuna to retain the Legends Title (B-) Eric Bischoff calls a company meeting and says that last week while he was being attacked his computer was hacked and the company was made public. He tried to undo it but before he was able to an unknown party grabbed 60% of the shares. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR THE SWE!?! (B+)

Sting d. Dusty Rhodes to retain. (A) Sting doesn't relinquish the Scorpion Deathlock on Dusty for no real reason. Jarrett has an argument with him about why he lost while he's in the hold! We pan backstage to see HERO OF TIME occupied by an argument with Se7en! (B)

POST-SHOW:

MVP hosts the VIP lounge again. MsChif mocks his shoddy segment again, but says she's found Trish... she'll be bringing her in for the PPV. Khali comes down and BRAIN CHOPS~ MVP and MsChif. (D+)

Colt cuts a quick promo, but is pooh-poohed by Eddie, who doesn't see himself losing the title to a joke wrestler. Colt says that he proved his heart and his talent in the Rumble, and if Eddie missed it, he'll prove it twice over at Slammiversary!

-Priceless are backstage to announce that the Freebirds won #1 contendership in a tag match where Cody and Ted didn't even compete! They whine about how bad a snub this is until RnR show up. R'n'R weren't in the match either, but you don't see them whining, because they got to be in the Rumble! Rock'n'Roll Express call Priceless a bunch of spoiled brats riding their daddies' coattails, and Priceless call RnR a pair of washed-p has-beens fighting for relevance.
