Not a big fan of ambiguous endings but it was a pretty fun game. I'm glad that I only paid 3 dollars for it. Some parts were really frustrating (using the ring to stop the spike plants so that the guys could walk through in world 6) but nothing too hard. I had to use a walk-through on 2 pieces though.
Wow you have to go through the entire last level again just to get to the epilogue? Yeah that's a little too much effort right now for me. Youtube here I come!
Wow I didn't realize there were collectible stars at all in the game. My constellation at the end had 5 or 6 I believe but I don't remember for sure. After seeing the alternate ending and everything it seems that the princess was the atomic bomb. Or something like that I suppose.
You don't have to do the entire end level again to see the epilogue. You can go straight to it. The door is all the way to the left in the starting area. There is no way your constellation had any stars without you knowing, let alone 6 of them. Each star is a feat to collect, you would remember.

Kenshin-when i say im going to kill you their is nothing you can do but die
Yeah I was just looking at the outline of the stars apparently. And I don't really anticipate going back and getting any of the stars. Especially since I didn't even know they existed and especially especially because I already put the puzzle together for world 3.

Too bad...!
That's the one that always f***s me over because I never remember until after I put the puzzle together.
