Too bad the battle system was kind of a chore, cause the story had some of the best moments in the series.

^ I know man. The battle animations are too long in the Xenosaga series. I personally think Episode II was a letdown but Episode III really picked up the tempo Episode I had.

I'm almost at the end of the game and I earnestly don't get people's issues with battles. Once you get the hang of it, they aren't bad at all.
