oi oi oi...star trek voyager isn't all THAT bad. Sure, it is mediocre overall (some absolutely terrible episodes, a bunch of meh ones, and some stellar ones courtesy of the doctor), but there are far worse...

Really, just the character of the doctor makes the show a few points above worst at a minimum.

Plenty if we count shows all shows that bombed and were cancelled within the first season. I'm sure there is still a number to pick from if we exclude all of those, but maybe not so many if we also limit that to recent decades.

Yeah, SGU was getting its act together and actually making me WANT to watch instead of doing such because it was stargate and one of the few shows currently airing with some minor form of hard scifi concepts. The first season was mostly garbage though. The second did some wonderful things, particularly the last half.

I never watched beyond the first season's finale of SGU. Even my eternal love of hard sci-fi wasn't enough.

Right around the time I decided I'd give the second season a try the news came in that it was cancelled. I have a long history involving myself above and beyond the call of fandom when it comes to cancelled shows; even succeeded on some level with two of them.

So uh, yeah, I didn't want to get involved so I didn't bother.

Too bad it was getting good, then.

Enterprise's back half was steadier than any Voyager season. But Enterprise didn't have The Doctor or Seven of Nine so those are two strikes.

...but really, Enterprise in its back half was a lot steadier.
