I've still never done anything with the friend feature but click accept if someone whose name I know sends me a request, and occasionally say "oh look, a highlighted name". Don't see much point in friend requesting people, really.

It's helpful if you use alts on other computers/phones, because you can just load up your friends list and look through your alts' AMP.
