Iron Man and Vision are kidnapped by Mandarin, the mission in the beginning is to save them. You can switch between Captain America and Hawkeye (there's also a nice tactical element, some bosses are almost impossible to beat with the wrong one), the game's pretty good and I recommend it.

Lopen's also correct regarding meeting up with Hawkeye, that helps tremendously in the game, as you can switch between them immediately once they team up. No points though. :P

...And man, looking further in that video series, the guy found a super cheap way to beat Mandarin with Captain America... It was such a gruelling battle to beat him the intended way with Hawkeye.

"Friendly fire" was common in games at that point, and you could just not hit your partner. We're talking something game-breaking here.
