Did someone have to turn? Yes, I agree. However it's the eventually part of your sentence I pick at. Personally, I'd have wanted to keep the Wolves together for just a couple of more months. Keep them both face and build to the rematch. Let the turn happen then. I figure that's the reason to. Plus I see them totally putting ANX over. Blowff match probably being a cage match, unless they do a Ladder War III with WGTT & KoW thrown in. Sounds insane I know, but I could hope for such a thing later in the year.

No, just keep it at Briscoes vs. ANX, and put it on the TV tapings (or put it on iPPV and build to it with the TV tapings)

When WGTT won the belts at HTCS1, I predicted that Cole and O'Reilly would be the ones to beat them, and that it would be at Final Battle.
I thought their match with the KoW the next afternoon would be the launching pad towards a slow build towards contention while WGTT mowed everyone else down. It would have been an easy upset sell--less than 24 hours after the Kings lost their belts, obviously NOT focused on Cole/O'Reilly, and meanwhile having Cole/O'Reilly 100% fresh and focused on toppling such a legendary team. edwards, I've been watching ROH for 2 years now and even I'm not sure I can really put El Generico into words. But trust me, you'll eventually get it. It's such an odd gimmick really, but somehow, someway, he makes it work. I can't explain it.
