I stay faithful for years while she struggled with not being able to have sex anymore, I stay with her because I am not shallow, I take advantage of one night and enjoy sex with her, I ask her to take plan b, and now I am faced with the lifelong guilt of abortion.
Life ain't fair sometimes. You can just give up on the belief that abortion is bad and all of your troubles go away
except for your aunt, that sucks of course.
I feel sick to my stomach because, although I never will think abortion is okay, I am secretly hoping she has a chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage so I won't have to go through this...

What? What disease??
interstitial cystitis
it developed like a year into our relationship

If you'd like to sing a song, may I suggest this one?
Smile, darn ya, smile You know this great world is a good world after all Smile, darn ya, smile And right away watch lady luck pay you a call Things are never black as they are painted Time for you and joy to get acquainted So make life worthwhile Come on and smile, darn ya, smile
Sometimes things are so bleak, you've got to be absurd and ironic to get through it. Give it a try.
Cyclo what the f*** man... he deserves better than comments like that. This is SephyG we're talking about here... not albion or mega or lamejokealt or any of those others like them. This is SephyG. This is a human being for f***'s sake!

How long ago did you knock the girl up? I had a real scare once when I was 18 but she ended up miscarrying after a few weeks. I think it's pretty common in the early stages. I was secretly relieved too because I would never have gone for abortion.
KingButz posted... Wait... so she is pushing for the abortion but asking you to pay for it? Easy solution; don't pay for the abortion and tell that ***** to suck it.
Just saying.
I am fairly wealthy now and she is a grad student.
Again, I'm not going to be a dick.

instead of paying for an abortion, you should just convince her to let you punch her in the stomach repeatedly until it dies. Also you shouldn't feel bad about offing it because religious people got the concept of reality wrong, kind of like guessing C to a multiple choice question when D was the only correct answer. I know you're conservative and all, but I remember you having the sensible conservative views rather than the crazy person religious right views.

yeah she's only like 2 weeks pregnant, tested postive like 5 days before her missed period...
She's having prolonged cramps that may or may not be normal, so we shall see

Being a dick =/= standing up for your beliefs. If you personally believe that this abortion would be wrong, why would you support it with your $$? You probably let that girl walk all over you; oh wait, you already told us that!
You're making it very hard to believe that this isn't a troll story.

My Japanese alter-ego. Hey all this is Bartz btw.
I know it seems like this is the worst time of your life, but trust me, it gets worse! Seriously though, is your aunt's tumor a candidate for surgery? What stage is she? My father has stage IV melanoma in his lung that is inoperable and has anywhere from between 2 months and 2 years to live, so he's much worse off than her, probably. If you can have surgery, that is always better than radiation/chemo.
Re: the girlfriend thing, that sucks, and I'd fight for her not to have an abortion, but if she wants one she wants one. Pay for half of it and break up with her. Then always wrap it up from now on.
