It would be my first so I'd want it to be something I'm really, really familiar with. So unfortunately it's going to wind up being rather stereotypical at least in name. I want to specifically target Squaresoft/Square Enix here -- that's already kind of a pretty big strike since so many damn lists have done so. But I really do know them inside and out, especially back when they were Squaresoft.

I was considering a "Top 10 Square-Brand World Map Themes" because I'm something of a JRPG music fan. At least JRPG music from the likes of Uematsu, Mitsuda, et al. I was also considering a "Top 10 Square-Brand Swords" with the possibility of future weapon installments.

Alternatively I could potentially avoid the specifically-targeting-Square thing by making something like "Top 10 PSX-Era World Map Themes". You know, broaden the horizons a little and then shrink them again. Keeping it well up my alley all the same.

Thoughts? Advice?

Nio's ideas sound more interesting. World map themes are kind of hit-and-miss to me -- there are a couple I like but most of them are just 'who cares.'

Though you have questionable music taste anyway, considering the Besaid theme hype. >__>

I thought about doing a Top Ten Video Game Swords that aren't Swords list, but couldn't think of ten. Also got stuck on my Most Womanly Women in Video Gaming list too.

I keep meaning to write up my Top Ten Manliest Men in Video Gaming who weren't in the last Top Ten Manliest Men in Video Gaming list list. I've got the ten figured out for that one though.
