They're close enough that I really wouldn't bother going back to play Melee in a serious fashion, especially since there's no online.

You can feel nostalgic about recent stuff! :P I mean, I had so much fun with the Dojo, and playing Brawl for hours with friends... it may not be as good of a game as Melee, but it gave me a better experience. Some of the funnest times I've had playing video games have been with Brawl.
