Well I loved the finish to the ultimate X match where Abyss choke slammed Brian Kendrick who grabbed the title at the highest point of the choke slam and won.
I dunno about the rest of the show but that was a Russo finish that needed to be done at some point.

I don't kid myself, you're whipped the second you put on that ring whether you want to act like it or not. There is always consequences for doing whatever you want, I know full well cos I do it far more often than she likes!
Also, Smackdown is really really good this week imo. Just watched it.

Crucifying my Oracle average one match at a time
Sin Cara had just been suspended for wellness violation. However, in the dream world, if you get suspended, WWE sends you to their private prison. As they're hauling him to jail, Sin Cara is able to break free from their grasps and escape into the forest. An enraged Vince sends his private army of 25000 soldiers to find him, with Michael Cole standing guard by a makeshift prison cell. Cole is leaning against a tree when all of a sudden, two cannonballs chained together (anyone who has seen The Borgias will know what I'm talking about) are launched with blazing speed towards Cole. The cannonballs crash into the tree with the chain just inches from Cole's face, narrowly avoiding getting sliced in half. Like a true movie, the dream camera pans over into the distance, revealing that it was SIN CARA who launched the chained cannonballs. He then throws about a dozen more cannonballs towards Cole, with his bare hands, no cannon or anything. Once again, they all hit the tree with the chain inches from Cole, essentially tying him up to the tree. Cole starts laughing, gloating that SC couldn't even hit him with one cannonball, when Sin Cara's intent is revealed: the force of all the weaponry hitting the tree causes it to topple over on top of the soldiers who had marched into the forest, wiping out half of Vince's army! Sin Cara then raises his hand in the air and takes off into the night.
In hindsight, Sin Cara having the strength to launch a dozen of those things probably proved that he did in fact take steroids!
uh...you might want to delete that post. Some people are still trying to avoid spoilers until it airs. But just everything was great. The matches, and that thing you mentioned. Everything.
I don't think there were any matches better than Rey's, but it was just overall a better show.
What I liked the most about Smackdown is that it has a ton of angles going on right now as opposed to RAW which is basically one huge angle, and all angles over at Smackdown look great to me.
You know, I've been against ending the Brand Sep for a long time, but right now the roster is so thin with established talent and ripe with up-and-comers that if there was ever a time to do it, this would be it.
Heck, Triple H taking over even gives them a splendid kayfabe reason for it.
Using Night of Champions 2011 as the PPV where the Brand Split ends and everything gets re-merged (and titles get unified) would probably draw an excellent buyrate.

The fear that all the established guys would just end up hogging 2 shows is outdated. Outside of Cena and Orton there ARE NO established guys that are full-time and constantly main-eventing.
What these new guys need most is credibility, and being the Undisputed Champion is far more credible than being Champ of one brand.
The last couple months have basically been spent propping up the WWE Title and kind of burying the WHC.
The WWE Title belt needs a drastic overhaul and this would provide reasoning for it.
If they wanted to do a 6-man Elimination Match for it like the main event of NoC last year was, they have the exact right amount of guys in the title mix (Punk, Cena, Rey, Orton, Christian, either Henry or Sheamus).
They could still do two touring groups, just the membership of the groups wouldn't be fixed from week-to-week.
I say go for it.

Truth beat Cena in a Tables match!
Conspiracy!

And if Night of Champions only had 4 title matches (WWE vs. World unification, US vs. IC unification, Tag Titles, Divas Title), that would leave more room for a defense of the INTERNET CHAMPIONSHIP.
