Success is 100% judged by winning a Super Bowl. If you choke before you even get there, then you're obviously not as good as you think you are.

Aren't you firmly in the "LeBron sucks until he wins a ring" camp.

Doesn't mean ****.

Pittsburgh and Green Bay are both better.
With a healthy Peyton, I'd take Indianapolis
New England is on that level

Chicago's up there, as is New Orleans

Basically everybody that was in the playoffs last year except maybe Seattle.

At least.

So the two teams that lost to us, at home, in the playoffs are better than us? Especially the Pats who lost 2 of 3 to us?

And Pittsburgh and Green Bay, the teams that needed the refs help to beat us (with Pittsburgh even failing despite the refs efforts in the regular season?)

And LOL New Orleans, literally lost to a 7-9 team.

Nobody seems to want to give the Jets their due despite the fact that they've proven themselves to be the best team in the league over the past 2 seasons. I'd be willing to bet jelly people will still be trying to say they suck when The Sanchize is putting on his 8th ring.

Nobody here is going to give the Jets their due because you sit there heralding them as the team from God, then make excuses when they fail.

You single-handedly kill the Jets. How do you feel.

How can the Jets have choked if they were the second worst team in the playoffs last year?

And I've never said LeBron sucks. He's very good, he's just not better than Jordan. And he's a douche.

And yeah I criticize him for never having won a ring, but he's also played 8 seasons and only just even sniffed one this season after putting himself in a situation where anything less than what he accomplished was impossible.

Sanchize on the other hand has gotten within a few bad breaks of winning it all in every season of his career, and he's about to win it all in his third season. No QB in history has ever had the immediate success that he has had. He's already the winningest road QB in NFL history. In two seasons. That's ****ing clutch.

I herald them because I'm a good fan. You'd be the exact same way if you rooted for a team that was a literal lock to win the Super Bowl this season.

Also I can't edit on this account, the last post was supposed to say "winningest road playoff QB in NFL history".

2007 he was in the NBA Finals

2009 and 2010, his team posted the best record in the NBA

2011 he was in the NBA Finals.

Saying he hasn't sniffed a championship is down right wrong. 4 of the past 5 years he's either been on the best team in the league record-wise or in the Finals themselves.

You said the same thing last year and they didn't even make the Super Bowl.

You struggle with the concept of "literal" it seems.

So it's okay to criticize LeBron for not winning a ring

But suddenly, when you use "The Jets didn't win the Super Bowl" to counter "Jets are the best team in the last two seasons," it's suddenly wrong because winning the Super Bowl doesn't = Success.

Cool beans.

2007 he got swept in the NBA Finals.

2009 and 2010, his team posted the best record in the NBA and then choked in the playoffs.

As for 2011, I addressed that in my post. He was close to winning the title this year, but not because of him. In fact, the reason he didn't get a ring this year is because he, specifically, choked. Wade and Bosh held up their ends of the bargain.

This argument isn't helping your cause, it's inadvertently supporting mine.

I've never said LeBron isn't a successful or talented basketball player. In fact, he's the best basketball player in the league, and the Heat are the best team in the league. And yet they didn't win the title.

Lebron :: Sanchize
Heat :: Jets

Both The Sanchize and LeBron are the best players in their respective sports and are members of the undisputed best team. Neither of them won a ring last year for different reasons, but nobody would ever say LeBron or the Heat aren't good. The Sanchize and the Jets don't get this same respect for some reason.

Both LeBron and Sanchize will win rings this season and then the haters will have no excuses.

In each of those scenarios he choked before he sniffed the championship.

Getting swept in the Finals is not "almost winning the title".

Well now it's just a semantics argument.

2 years he got closer than 28 other teams to winning a title. That's "sniffing a championship."

2 years his team posted the best record in basketball. That's "sniffing a championship."

When the Pistons went to the ECF 6 years in a row, I'd say they were "sniffing a championship" every one of those years.

For a team to not be sniffing, I'd have to say they'd have to be one of those 4-8 seeds that don't make it past the second round or don't post a great record.

I also enjoy it when Jets fans act like Sanchez is anything special. If the Jets actually had a good quarterback, they would've had a damn good chance at winning the past two Super Bowls.

Unfortunately, they don't, and they're going to continue to fail.
